Measurement set-up. This is a block diagram of the measurement set-up that was used to compare the fast algorithm with the gradient algorithm. The lower part of the picture shows the front end of our testbed’s RFID receiver, where the first power detector output is fed into the testbed controller (TBC), which commands all hardware necessary for LCC adaption. The LCC consists of a module called carrier cancellation unit 1 (CCU1), which is controlled from the testbed controller. The leakage signal is either generated by one of two antenna configurations or by replacing this complete block with another CCU2 for artificial leakage generation.
