Probability of avoiding collisions according to the cardinality of the collision set. Ifp≤ 1 16 , the probability of avoiding collisions constantly increases as n grows. Instead, ifp≥ 1 8 , it is highly probable that a collision is generated by a set composed of 3 or 4 readers. If n > 13, the probability of avoiding collisions is always 1, independently of the value of p is because no collision sets with cardinality higher than 13 exist.
